I am a member of the Magpies, and attend all Alberton games and some away games.Might have to start feeling bad about my contribution ot the SANFL.

Calm down Boonester, I was just pulling your leg.

The whole "accept the AFL" thing is kind of tangential to my gripe; methinks you missed the point.

I'm grizzling that SANFL diehards are getting slugged for this, when people who largely don't give a stuff about it get to enter scott free. If the SANFL was keen to get a crowd and maximise exposure, why not make it free - or at least discount - to anyone with a SANFL club membership as well? Reward the diehards, don't discriminate against them.

PS fatalberton - "The Bureau" - I got that single and the album it's from; great album from a great era....

Some good points mentioned pseudo - a discount instead of an increase of a dollar would have been the way to go. $5 bucks for the adults. Kids (U/18), pensioners and the dole bludgers all free (That should ensure a good contignent from both out Alberton and Elizabeth way!) and happy hour beer prices $2 cups - which should ensure for a good night out!

Indeed, keep the admission prices the same, except for U-18's who can surely pay $1.

A free beer to the first 1000 through the gate, and another 2000 after the game at Quasimodo's, SkyCity or Strathmore. :D

Anyone know the sanfl's email address for marketting so I can have a go at them about this. I am **** pissed off that these cow/powder puffs can get to a game while us sanfl club members have to pay.

I agree Psuedo, what I was saying is,dont assume all people who regularly attend AFL games dont give a stuff about the SANFL.I go to all Port AFL games, and as I said in an earlier post the majority of Port Magpie games aswell.I did not say I agreed with the free pass either.I think SANFL club members should only have to show their membership card for entry.

Ummm, I meant I thought it was "Only for Sheep" by The Bureau, not Mr. Morrisey.

At least I didn't think it was "Baa Baa Black Sheep" by Patsy Biscoe...

Ah, now we've confused everyone (including ourselves).

Housemartins did* "Sheep"
Bureau did "Only for Sheep"

Salt n Pepa did "Shoop"
Beachboys did "Sloop John B"

Morrissey never did anything that mentioned sheep, but did wear knitted cardigans.
