The North board want a clash jumper to avoid the "clash" with the red bricks of the Adelaide Oval...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Dunno, the Bays do the opposite, ask them.

We wore the new one today with quite a few sponsors on it. http://www.sturtcheersquad.com/apps/pho ... d=29199694 It does look a bit messy but i guess with our financial position, the more sponsors the better.

Well said mate ... If you're a club needing decent additional revenue don't let tradition get in the way (fair enough it's always the preferred option to us fans, but not always viable), first things first - It's not as if anyone doesn't know which guernsey belongs to who anyway.

If your club is going to play in THAT JUMPER the SANFL should not have umpires in all WHITE.Well one goal umpire in the seconds was in orange ;) must have spilled his fanta all over his top.

That Goal umpire in orange at the North Adelaide v Eagles Reserves yesterday was me MickyJ. I have to wear the same uniform as last year (SGL) as they have not provided me with uniform yet and i am new to the SANFL.

Thats cool it just looked strange to have a different coloured umpire uniform .BUT would have been better if you all wore orange against the white north jumper.

Welcome to the SANFL by the way Brodie
Thats a first for me Umpires contacting me ;) I normally just annoy the other teams fans

Of course we're going to play in that jumper because our normal red guernseys look so similar to the Eagles yellow guernseys that we had to do something to make sure they clash.

In the u16/18 matches today, the Eagles wore the GOLD and North wore the normal Red one.

Love to mate. I'll be there this Sat. I know it's all a bit of fun, bit of sledging and have a beer with some good people, I never say no. BTW the people that know me on here know i spent the first 25 years of my life in Lizbeff anyway. Glad i'm out, but wasn't a bad place, just closer to the beach these days.
