if i was a south supporter i would be pretty smeged. look at all the cash the have throw around and what have they got for it that has been positive?... nothing. Craig parry at port was one of the best ruckman of the comp. South throw all this money at him he goes and has done nothing except get reported. Damien cupido has had 2 good games all year. South need people who have pride for the guernsey and if there not the south supporters should let the club know they dont want them.

p.s. maybe south can fix the staduim and put some sort of heating system in so i dont feel like i am in siberia when i go there.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Craig Parry has played exceptional footy all year, your knowledge of the SANFL is obviously quite limited

i do watch plenty of footy. I just think craig parry hasnt had the impact at south like he did a port also everytime south play port, parry does nothing and i do mean nothing. The reports i will admit i never saw so i cant realy comment on them.

As a South supporter all my life I can totally understand the frustration we all feel. What I cant not understand is teams that have not been successful in previous years (ie Norwood, Glenelg) and a new coach come in without much new players and are getting results on the board. This has been a problem with South for years since good old Jonny Reid coached us to the finals in 1991/92. We spend big $$$ on new players who are highly regarded and it just does not gel. What is the problem and cause? On Friday night again we over used the ball with silly handballs in the first 1/4. I just seems we get told the same old story year after year. To not play finals since 1992 is a shocking record considering the players we have. After the 1/4 the players played direct football which seemed to work. I wish we played like this every game. Footy is a basic game but we seem to make it so much more complex for ourselves out there.
We seem to except "good enough is near enough" this has to change if we are going to be a success.
Centrals this week is one of the biggest games of the year for South. If this is a loss I am afraid to think what the out come of this year will be.
Lets try and keep our chins up Southies and get out there on the weekend.
Great to see so many faces out there on Friday night.

As a south supporter since 1977, I know how you feel (at 10, I cry all the way home from the 79 Grand Final) but this is the time for us to stick by the Club cause there not alot of us and they need our support.

While I can't see alot of games as I am in Victoria, I will be over for 3 games in June, wearing the jumper with pride (a little stretch but with pride).

My wish for the club is that we can find someone who had some past association with the club and lead our club with passion and lift the spirit of the players and the supporters. This is what lacking in the club. We get alot of people from other clubs coming in (ie Graham Cornes, Rick Davies, Don Scott, Ken Sheldon, Greg Anderson, etc) but is the club ready important to them? It is a club without passion.

We may be down now but it going to make the time when we do succeed, so much better. I remember the feeling when we beat Norwood after losing those 20-odd games. I remember Gordon Gatti doing laps of Footy Park after each goal we kick. I also remember running on the Oval after Darren Harris kicking the goal to beat Port.

Imagine what the premiership will feel like.

I am still a Believer. I still love the Club. I would not change it for the world.
