Holmes has been injured but has been named in the Glenelg Reserves side tomorrow.

PS Keep up the good scouting work TS :)

Obviously there will be plenty of AFL scouts in Melbourne watching these championships, but would most of the SANFL clubs have scouts over there as well? Would imagine a few of those that don't get picked in the AFL draft would be targets for SANFL clubs. Notice North already have a young player playing for NT in their ressies.

Were a couple of pretty good matches played in wet conditions yesterday.

The first game was the NT v Qld game.

Qld were on top for most of the match. They were too tall and skillful for their NT counterparts. Carma-Holt for NT took an absolute screamer of a mark, one of the best marks seen in years. Not as good as Inksters but it would be in the top 3-4 marks ive seen in the last 5-6 years. Leaped so high he was kneeling on some guys head. Two players got sent off (they have yellow and red cards at this level...sin bin type things).

Petterd looked great as a smooth moving outside wing. Albert Proud showed why he is a potential top 10 draft pick with fine decision making and skills. Urkhart was pretty good running off half back.

For NT Anderson had a cracker of a game. Djerrkura looked skillful and lively up forward whilst Oliver and Cyril Rioli also played well.

The second game was a cracker, with Tassie coming from a couple of goals behing in the alst quarter to win. Riewoldt (Nicks cousin) and Thorp both lived up to their hype. Both are rated as top 10 picks, Thorp rated as the 2nd best key forward in the draft and could go top 5. Riewoldt came back from a quiet first quarter and played in the middle for a fair time as well. Thorp moves well and has a thumping kick. Hislop also played well as a midfield/forward option and seems to have an AFL ready body.

Bird and Duryea looked good for NSW.

Haha cheers Ecky 8)

On a sour note SA are getting their arse pumped by VIC metro. 41 points down at 3/4 mainly due to Gallman playing on Hawkins, then Cunninngham who are getting molested

Midfield also getting hammered, but Gibbs and Hurley carving it up as expected. Hurley 30 touches, Gibbs 28 touches, Sellar 16 touches to 3/4 time.

Very disappointing and I think its time for a new coach as there's heaps of talent here, just not gelling.
Gibbs, Sellar and Hurley were oustanding.
Also pretty happy with the Vic Metro full forward seeing as the Cats can get him under the Father/Son rule.

From BigFooty.

"In the second half he kicked the last three goals of the game in the last 6 min to get Tasmania over the line."
