Backwell = thug. He's on the list with Bown and Eagleton.

But for even more wayward kicking North could have won it in the end.

3.9 in the last qtr to the Roosters and 23 scoring shots to 10 in the 2nd half.

Sounded like some strange umpiring decisions, and RPH was giving the men in white a right old spray.

Was there a Sturt report for striking Thring?

Harms goal came from his first KICK in league footy.

Why would there be a report  Crane didn't even get a free kick-and nobody is suggesting that Keller should be reported

That is a good question for spelly...

Glenelg might have done it once. I recall in one of the spoon years the Bays beat South twice during the season. No idea if there was a South win in between, or if the second of those two sealed a run of three, as per the official footysa.com Bitch requirements.

I think that Norwood only won three games in 1968 all against Central. Adelaide Hawk, Mal or Spelly may be able to vertify that fact.

Correct RiG. They also had a draw against South but just the 3 wins against Central.

On a general note from the match, James Allan's game was one of the best I've seen in SANFL this season. Will be very surprised if he doesn't get the three votes from this game, with acknowledgement to Richard Tambling, who played arguably his best game in Sturt colours.

And I asked why there WOULD be a report? Seeing Jimmy had already posted that Harmes 1st kick in footy was a goal, why bother with saying that his "2nd touch'" was a goal - posting for the sake of getting reply ?? :?
