Or what Mickan did for us and then the Bays. Fuller credited part of our premiers win to Mickan for the way he took us from winning 22% of games prior to his tenure to finals in his second season. Bays reached finals in Mickan's second season also. The west board must be very disappointed.4 years and no finals is not good enough.

I believe the only way he wont be there next year if he asks to leave due to his family situation

Rory Laird.

How did this boy NOT get a league game for West this year? I am amazed at that!

West should appoint him as coach.

Heard they won't be getting rid of him as the club can't afford to do it. also heard there will be a few players going elsewhere next year too, due to the fact he will be staying on.
So you've seen everything have you?

I would have thought your axe would be sharp enough by now BC, you've been grinding it for so long. The coach has stated that 'everyone' (meaning everyone he wants, I presume) has re-signed for next year.

No axe to grind. Just think he is a spud. I'm not the only one that thinks that either.

Presumably you're equally amazed about Lachlan Roach's inability to get a League game while being on an AFL list.

So you are saying Laird hasn't been good enough to get a league game?

I'm not sure how you come to that conclusion from my post, but I'm not sure if he has been good enough or not. I'm simply saying I think it's probably more surprising that an AFL-listed player doesn't get a game than an Under 18 kid who spent a fair bit of the year tied up with the State squad.

Have West supporters all received the same memo on how to avoid answering simple questions?

Maybe they both haven't forced the senior coach to play them in the A's.

Look I think that is a fair point to be honest but I dont' think Lachies' reserves form has been anywhere near that of Laird's.

Also re chances of enhancing his draft prospects (which is not relevant to Roachey) it would have been reasonable to expect that he be given a chance.

Fair enough, although I don't think we should be picking teams on the basis of enhancing players' draft prospects.

I should have said this was from the start of the 2011 season and Dutchy was saying that Fuller was doing a good job and Collins wasnt doing a good job. There were so many threads/comments ripping into Collins
