Sturt were the better team all day, first to the ball and wanted it more...what's more, we finally held some marks, didn't overuse the handball and kicked pinpoint to teammates, something Central were rarely able to do consistently...
Hard to pick out better players for the Blues as it was a real team effort..I though Riley did some special stuff in close for his first game back, along with Thomson, Evans, Crane, Kane and Cubillo...Hinge, Anderson and F. Evans were excellent in defence. Boyd and Thomas were excellent for the dogs as they are most weeks.
A pity we didn't convert our chances in the first quarter, but we didn't need it in the end. It's also a shame we have yet another bye next week
