Yes, the SANFL is pretty much stuffed financially. Asset rich, great history, loyal fans, but low income stream, heavy pokie dependence and effectively becoming beggars of the AFL.

All comes back to this.

If Port got rid of the magpies when they went in to the AFL, then the SANFL could feed both clubs. Crows are p*ssed that Port have "another" team, so they want a team aswell. Pretty sure it's going to be a crows + power reserves in the SANFL who will take away from the strength of the league and turn it in to a mediocre VFL.

I pray it doesn't come to this but it looks like the AwFL are going to put an end to the league as well know it.
