We just never really seemed to get going today, perhaps after the last couple wins we got a little ahead of ourselves and started to think we were a bit better than we really are.

To think I was starting to consider booking some time off work at the start of October, just incase. Think that's a long way off yet based on todays performance

The dogs chose to kick against the breeze? Omg.

That's what was said on the raido

In December this year... Port.

To the game. Worst in a long time. Poor skills from all, Port happened to be in front at the end.

Moving on.

Well lost Centrals!! Did everything wrong at vital stages and port made us pay. Everytime we looked like blowing the game away we gave up cheap goals to bad turnovers .

Very methodical and patient build up from port was quite impressive. Even late in the game when 4 points down they were happy to go backwards and use the loose man.

Beard is a gun !!! He controlled half back all day .

Symes was brilliant for the dogs. Boyd Thomas Williams battled hard.

Jacob Tenpleton had a stinker!!

Its taken you guys 10 years to beat us at the Ponderosa all i can say is well done we nearly snatched it in the dying seconds. From what i saw Centrals hitting the body and tackling was not there also just the basic rule of manning up.

Come on guys get back to the basics.

Ken McGregor must be a good coach to get such good results with that list.

Both sides were terrible!

It was an awful game of football to watch. The skill level especially from Centrals was ordinary. I have never seen so many guys fumble the ball. We looked slow, disinterested and our decision making was deplorable. Prior should never have been left on Thurgood. He gave him a bath.

It was our worst game of football for the year.

The hangar in the north-eastern pocket, mark or free kick?

I was in the opposite pocket, looked like it was all leap to me. But there was a moment where the jump was obscured, so any hands in the back could've been then. Thoughts?

We were terrible. The game was terrible.
Port did well to win.

The excitement from the Maggies cheer squad afterwards was enjoyable to watch (albeit through gritted teeth).

Thurgood, exceptional - killed us. Johncock, did nothing.

Agree. Port worked hard and kept at their own game. We didn't man up and respect them. Letting a game like that get away at lizbef is bloody concerning. Very hard game to watch after a crappy day at work.

Well done Port, pity we both didn't have a better turn up.

Credit where credit is due though, as I thought Stiffy was very, very well held by Josh Waldhuter...

With Adelaide having the bye I would think there would have been interested observers watching him. Cunning plan by Stiff to make sure he doesn't get picked at AFL level again.

Ken Farmer here comes Johncock... :D

Stiffy wasn't convincing around the hard ball on Saturday.
