Do what you want mate, I was just trying to understand who/what/where you now support.

Sorry for asking.....well, not really.

Anywho, with big Texas back ( be still my beating heart ) Adelaide should pummel the hapless Bays into submission.

0-4 25%. Bewdiful.

All Good... read too much into your comment, my bad
Thought you were having a shot.

I honestly am unsure how it will play out for me this season (& beyond).
I am enjoying going to Morphettville a little too much actually - although the punting has been very 'up & down' over the Autumn

I guess I'm hoping South do well - for a range of reasons, not least of all they are well overdue.

As for Friday, I am hoping there is a large crowd - as that will mean more Cows Fans to annoy 8)

Looking forward to watching the Sacred Heart Old Collegians (SHOCS) play Scotch Old Collegians (Old Scotch) in the curtain-raiser and then, despite following the bays since 1951 and seeing my first game in 1954 and a member since 1976, I may head home before the first bounce of the SANFL game.

The REASON - The SAAFL has integrity. The SANFL (old passion fingers and co) and the Adelaide FC (Trigg and Co) and the AFL talk about integrity but have no idea what it means.

Hardly, we'll be 5-3 after we play West in the 1s, percentage will hopefully around 50% by then.

It's all about Positive Self Talk.

Sorry LE... oops, LPH... but if you want to see me you'll have to come back on Saturday arvo for the second meeting of the Bay Oval Bye Week Book Club (tm). Come and discuss modern literature (i.e. the Football Budget) and view performing arts (i.e. the SANFL telecast) over a few beers, safe in the knowledge that you are supporting a sovereign SANFL club without sanctioning the presence of unwanted interlopers.

State League, Phil?

That is what I have heard them referred to, previously...

This is what the Crows want you to say, you will never hear them say "reserves", another Triggy masterpiece

Champion players like Roughead, Hodge, Judd, Hawkins have came back via the two's in the past and play infront of two cats and a dog yet thousands are going to rock up to watch a guy who wouldnt even be top 50 in the league :?

Ah, that's Victorians for you! Nah, there's a precedent: Tredrea played for the Port Adelaide Magpies (™, ©, RIP) in 2007 and arguably dragged 1500 through the gate at the Parade. Granted, he was playing for a club that had supporters and people who cared about whether it won or lost.

Going to the Bay - my late father's Birthday is ANZAC Day, so I go to footy every year on that day - I trust that is acceptable to you

I always like to catch up with the 'Bays blokes' @ least once a year - Stampy, Dirko, Spargo, Pseudo, etc. :)

As I've stated already - I still support the Competition but won't support a 'Club' as such.
By paying @ the gate, my money goes to the competition.
By buying a Membership of South, my money goes to a Club that voted 'No'

Is that OK?

I hope all those blokes will be there to catch up with, I have a feeling not all will attend afl reserves matches.

Why don't you PM, then oyu wouldn't have to hope :D

Glenelg and Crows did a joint promotion thing at Marion Shopping Centre today, running a scaled down skills clinic.

2 GFC and 2 AFC players in attendance. Good to see.

Brenton Sanderson is also speaking at the Pre Match Presidents dinner as well.

Game starts at 7.10pm, but pre-match stuff, including reading of The Ode, playing of the Last Post and Reveille, commences from 6.45pm.
