History says that Clive will step up. Using his immediate opponent's head as a stepladder, no doubt.

John Georgio.

Our 'gun' recruit in the nineties, played two finals for Norwood, was unsighted in either and p**sed off back to Victoria.

Not from my club, but I would have thought Passador needs to stand up in the finals, particularly the GF if the Eags get there, given his disappointing performances in these in the past?

How correct was I with my prediction of eagles players who go missing? And those who will put their hands up?

The performances in finals of Ciccolela, Passador and Rugolo were absolutely disgraceful. I am sick to death of these guys teasing us with brilliant minor round form and playing like S**T comes finals.

LOOK AT HOW COLVILLE AND MCKENZIE PUT IN! These guys will continuously play to the end and never give up. These two each week have to play on guys physically bigger then them and they still go in hard. The three I mentioned are three of our physically stronger guys yet you'd think they were little kids the way they play.

I am sick of some of the lessons never learned against Centrals
1. DON'T start Cicca in the centre square. He gets sucked in by Gowans, reacts and his mind gets taken off the job. Play him 4 quarters up foward where he WILL kick 1 or 2 goals.

2. Shattock's never looked like he is really trying when playing for us.

3. P. Fiacchi is good against the north adelaide's and less physical teams but you cannot play him as a back pocket against centrals who have resting rovers and onballers who are chunky when he is a lightweight. Gets pushed off too easily.

4. Time to Drop Rugolo and Westbrook. Rugolo has done nothing all year and is too slow. If he doesn't kick goals he is a liability as his opponent runs off. Westbrook started the year off well but his last half has been ordinary. If he doesn't kick goals then he is useless as he doesn't find the football.

5. We have the rovers and potential up forward to kick goals if we can BRING THE BALL TO GROUND and HOLD IT IN. We need to bring up someone like Dabrowski up forward even if he just stands there to lock the ball in. Passador cannot take a pack mark.

SO WHAT DO WE DO FROM HERE.

OUT - Rugolo, Westbrook, Fairclough, P. Fiacchi
IN - Knights (if crows let him play although i doubt it), P. Stewart, Petrenko, Angus

I don't care if we don't make the grand final. I'd rather not get there if we keep doing the same old thing. Bring up some of these guys who have played well in reserves all year and lets see if they have the guts which many of our players don't

From an eagles perspective watching the 2SF most notably was Passador but I would go further and say the whole team with the exception of timmy inkster he was the 1 shining light on a very dull day.

Having watched the replay there were three players in particular that went missing and let down the team in the first half. Passador, Rugolo and Treeby. Treeby stepped up in the 2nd half, but must play 4 quarters.

PASSADOR, played only one quarter in many finals against centrals, 2004 second semi last quarter. Needs to stand up this week.

i would have thought he needed to put in a four quarter effort both against north and then if the eagles are lucky enough to get through against central

I was talking to some Eagles supporters in the 3rd quarter yesterday and they were abolutely ropable with Passador's effort up to that stage of the game and in the finals in general.
