Law 19.2.2 (g) v makes no mention to open hand it mere states striking another person...

Can be open hand, under hand back hand forehand clenched hand you name it a strike is a strike is a strike....

South supporters should take their medicine they have already flaunted got away with an inadequately light sentance vis-a-vis the salary cap.

Maybe if the whinge some more, they can get some more handouts.....

Maybe they haven't got there original zone but unlike every other club they have had a home-ground built for them for the cost of a peppercorn......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Is it a coincidence only Glenelg supporters (not all, kudos to the one or two who commented on it on merit alone), retards and the SANFL agree with this punishment?

Come On, try to look at the decision from a level point of view, Im not even sure why Glenelg fans are jumping on the "they should accept it" bandwagon when Mouse got off for doing something far worse. FFS Glenelg are now out of the competition in 2006, get over it!

All SANFL fans should be outraged over this decision, just put yoursevles in their shoes and at the very least ask yourselves the question why the WAFL, the VFL, the AFL and many other leagues have avenues of appeal in case a mistake is made but the SANFL doesn't.

hey im in the majority of glenelg fans that believe that MOUSE SHOULD HAVE been suspended and CUPIDO should have got off.

Mouse was clearly worse then Cupido, it was only the fine acting performance oF McConnell that made it look a hell of a lot worse then what it was.

Yeah I was thinking of you when I said the one or two who I gave kudos too but it seems a minority more than a majority. Perhaps its just some poor trolling that I'm taking the wrong way?

As moderator, can you determine who put in the "yes" votes? Care to tell us which teams they support?

Like I said earlier - my own vote was a "no". Bet I'm not the only Bays fan in that total.

The poll asks was he guilty or not guilty - nothing about the sentance handed out, The first part of my post was merely making reference to the laws of Austrlian Footy.

Under those laws he is guilty, should he have been reported well that is for a different poll. If I had to be honest, from someone who was there (all beit 150 m away unlike the umpire) it should have been a down field at most....

The second part of my post is a comment on the selective views some people have when it comes to punishments handed out by the SANFL. Damn quiet when they are given a gift by the SANFL, (only a $50k fine) when it should have been far worse, especially as the evidece was handed to teh SANFL on a platter vis-a-vis a deliberate attempt to rort the cap. In other words it wasn't simply an overpayment as per Centrals it was case of here is your official contract and here is the nudge nudge wink wink say-no-more contract that we will actually pay you.

Hey we'll take that inadequate punishment but we will whinge a moan when Stupido gets a week when he shouldn't have got any......

Swings and roundabouts, swings and roundabouts....

Oh Blue and White tell me how premierships you won in 85 years, let alone GFs played in and finals series you've made......I can handle crap from every other club supporter against us, but I just laugh when it is a South supporter dishing it out.......

I hate to jump on the Panthers bandwagon but you're asking for it!!

Why worry about the last 85 years?
Why not just look at this century?

South: 1 final (plus possibly more)
Glenelg: 0
