Does anyone really care about state footy anymore?

I couldn't give a rats if SA beat Vic or WA.

Good appointment, get off this whole glenelg thing, I am sure he is neutral.. he loves the state, as he said this morning it is football and you dont have to be a rocket scientist to work out stoppage structures for state footy.
I am really happy with Cornesy getting the gig.. hope the team do well

Would have been a good chance to give a younger aspiring coach a crack. Jobs for the boys it seems.

A whole generation of footballers has been & gone since he last coached.
I don't doubt his commitment & Cornes' record speaks for itself - but really?

His first instructions to the players will be to use the drop kick with all passing and if behind go the biff

Wonder if David Grainger will be appointed to the WA coaching panel?

Agreed, good point.

Jobs for the boys it seems.

Maybe, though the League might be taking an "any publicity is good publicity" approach with a degree of controversy. Certainly doesn't look like being a universally popular choice - at this stage at least.

The publicity is probably the motive behind it. Just need WA to come on board and appoint Mal Brown to show everyone neither state gives a rats about rep team success.

How can u doubt your last premiership coach when your currently on an unbelievable run of unheralded mini league coaches who are obsessed with wooden cutlery
Talk about ungrateful
