Did anyone at WWT contact Sturt about the possible change of guernsey.

Just asking

The real question is - Why did the Eagles choose to wear their commemorative Guernsey against the only team that it would have clashed with.

Commemorative guernsey?
Sorry, couldn't even get to a TV to watch the game, but I don't recall wwt ever having a guernsey that looked like ours.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Or why design a Guernsey that clashed with the umpires as well as the opposition.

The Eagles have never done well with Guernsey's.

I'm guessing the lighter blue of the Eagles commemorative guernsey looked bad with their current darker blue shorts and they didn't get shorts made to match. So they wore white. Which clashed with Sturt's white numbers. Would have all been fine if Sturt wore white shorts and Eagles wore blue.

Anyway, was good to see the Eagles get away from the yellow, even if for one game. The current one would be good if blue swapped with yellow and get rid of the Elvis Eagle.

A further reminder of how much interest has slipped in the competition when all bar a couple of review posts were about the clash of guernsey.

Eagles 6.7 (43) is the club record for a lowest winning score, beating 7.10 (52) against West in the last round of 2012
