Should be an even contest.

North will improve but at home Central to prevail by 3 goals.

Don't be surprised, there was a sturtpeter sighting on a preview thread a couple of weeks back.
Professional blog forensics give it a 65% probability of authenticity rating. However, there is strong support in the cynic's camp, they claim that this is the new running sheet and we shouldn't get sidetracked with it

Don't be surprised if the Cocks come out and win, which seems the norm after a coach has been replaced 1st up !

Laird signed a 5 year coaching appointment at The CDFC during the summer just gone.

Are you sure?
I'm fairly certain he'll be at the Dogs next year but would be surprised if a five-year deal has been signed.

Congratulations to Liam Jacka and Sam Wundke on being picked to play their first game for the Roosters. Well deserved

Can't believe people are believing Central signed Laird for 5 years.

Heard he and McGregor didn't get along too well, nothing to do with the body...

From what I heard I wouldn't say nothing to do with the body, although that might not have been the primary reason

Nothing to do with his body, more to do with coaches assesment and management of his playing group. IMHO. Was not a star but a good solid defender who should be invite back to the Club.
North by 1-36. Good first signs from new coach. Well done Mick.

It no wonder North are down with supporters like you. Show some faith in the new direction. All our SANFL clubs need positive support.

I notice that North had 1.2 (8) to 3QT; the last time North were in single figures at 3QT was the 1914 FInal against Port (0.8). Since then, this has been only the 17th occasion (all post WW1) this has been done. And only the fourth since a lower 3QT score (than the 8 points) was kicked (1.1 by Norwood in the 1988 2nd Semi)
