No mate, they never show any fight.

Don't think we'd sell any tickets for mutually parting cocks though.

I'd enter him in the car jousting, that'd mix things up a bit.

Dodgeball.

The 5 D's.

Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.

It wouldn't. It's the theme we're running with. ;)

I think it would work something like this:

Shots made from different locations count as singles, doubles, triples, and home runs, and missed shots count as outs. Could all be played in the driveway of your home.

I envisage that it could easily translate from neighbourhood sport to a national stage.

Well then, perhaps we could form a "Backyard Cricket League" with 6's and out, one hand one bounce, can't get out first ball and your little sister can't be bowled at full pace?

I've got a crazy idea, put 2 reserves sides into the same comp as 8 league teams and have those 2 reserves teams play under different rules.

Have all ten play on a decagon. Awesome!

Why limit yourself to a planar arena?

Equip the eight dinkum teams with rocket packs and have them play to the corners of a 3-D cube in zero gravity.

Dodecahedron Football League* (TM)

12 sides, each side only plays one other side, so 6 balls are in play and 12 set of goal posts. Makes for a bit of fun when trying to "go to the fat side".

I'd like to claim rights to this when the league eventuates.

When you miss a shot it's an out.
There are offensive and defensive teams - defenders try and block the shot.
You could have a psyche out, as well - where the defensive player tries everything he can to put the player off and make him miss.
