Question to eagles supporters – with Boyd quite possibly out for the season and Goldsworthy to return in the next week or so, should Godden return Goldsworthy to the midfield to cover Boyd’s absence? Goldy stagnated as a midfielder over the last two years but his reinvention as a small defender has seen him have a brilliant season and in the running for B&F. During Goldy’s absence, Allmond has stepped up and has shown he is also capable of playing well as the small defender. Should Godden make the change or should he stick with his initial plan at the start of the season and continue to play Goldy as the sweeping defender?

6 of one half a dozen of the other I reckon. I guess if Allmond is going ok right now, have Goldsworthy to cover Boyd. With 6 matches to go before finals it could be something to see if it works before finals
