yep, could even change to 8-0

More than likely 7-1 after this week and then 7-2 after the GF considering they'll more than likely beat you in the Prelim.

Hopefully it's an Eagles win to make it 7 - 1 in finals.

The other thing that has helped our success is the fact that there is no in-fighting or bitching & the players truly are all the best of mates & would do anything for each other.

Of course the Gowans boys bitch with each other, but, thta's cancelled out by the fact they'd do more than anything for their team-mates.

Kenny is not named for the crows, I would of thought he would of been an ideal match up for Cowan, non selection of Vince also interests me, he was outstanding for the Eagles in last years finals, so he can play in big games.......

Chris Knights, he is back in full trainging with the Crows, once again I thought he was very good in last years finals series

Kenny, Knights and Vince no selections may hurt the eagles

Don't know about Knights, my guess is he didn't pass fitness test. Vince is a surprise non-selection but it wouldn't surprise if he's a late call up into the side. Fuller stated publicly right from the word go that Kenny would not play, besides this has been named as an emergency for the Crows. Overall a very good side and would still expect a win on the weekend.

Jarrad will be a loss of sorts, a player that sees alot of the ball but does make too many mistakes at times, one wonders what the pressure of finals football would do. Treeby back to a wing is a more than handy replacement with symmo on the other. We should be right mate. I'm quietly confident about this one.

SYD Vince is a crows contracted player who gets paid by the Crows
and thats why he is having an operation when the Crows season finishes
but not when the WWT season finishes.
= Crows using the SANFL for its own selfish reasons AGAIN.

I will pose this to you as you are an astute technician of the game,
would VINCE playing in a SANFL grand final further enhance the boys progress?

Going to be a tough, hard, old-fashioned final this one. Its a bit hard to know whether the past finals record between these teams will help CDs or not. If its not a factor then the Eagles would be expected to win by virtue of the week's rest (geez it was hot last Sunday and all players were struggling late in the games) and slightly more depth through the midfield - similar kinds of advantages that CDs have enjoyed in previous seasons. It should also be worth noting that apart from the 2004 GF debacle, the finals games in the last two seasons have been quite close, and important minor round game results have been split. CDs haven’t beaten the Eagles this season – in fact in both encounters the Eagles have dominated play. But all-in-all the analysis of past history counts for little either way – its always what happens on the day that counts! I don’t think the game will break open until well into the second half but Im tipping the Eagles will wear CDs down to just prevail. But a CDs win would not surprise anyone. Eagles by 10-20.
