Talia, Hamilton and Surman are real good pick ups by the Legs.

Thoughts on Edmead ??? Chuckles to self

Slow, overweight and fumbly. Hopefully there is some improvement otherwise he will be playing ressies

to quote some Norwood supporters,
"Edmead is fat and needs to go back to the ressies and earn his spot. I hope Norwood are researching these players cos some centrals supporters were saying “buyer beware”.

Norwood supporters aren't renowned for their patience lol. Far too early to pass judgement on any player after 1 round. Sounds as though several of our boys are behind schedule with their fitness.

On Edmead, I rated him at Central a few years back, whether he's capable of getting back to that level we'll find out in time I guess, but we had a need for more players with a bit of sh1t about them, and a goal sneak, both of which he ticks when up and about so here's hoping:

South Adelaide co-captain Joel Cross has accepted a fine and reprimand for striking during the Panthers Round 1 win over Glenelg.
The SANFL Match Review Panel adjudged Cross made intentional low impact to the body of Tigers defender Aaron Joseph during a tussle early in the game.

The Club has entered an early guilty plea and accepted punishment of a fine and reprimand. Therefore Cross will avoid a suspension and be available to face Norwood this Sunday at the Parade.

Cross also remains eligible for a potential third Magarey Medal as his sanction does not include a suspension.

Charge: Striking

Conduct: Intentional
Impact: Low
Contact: Body

Penalty: 1 Match (Base Sanction) | Fine ($200) & Reprimand (Early Plea)

Also a pessimistic supporter i think Norwood at Norwood may be too good on what will be a hot day to play and watch footy, should, however be a pretty good game, Panthers have some very good young talent coming through this year.

Hot day with our lack of fitness doesn’t leave me with a heap of confidence

Those odds above are out of whack though imho .. Norwood perhaps should be slight favourites being at home, but I dont think there's much between the teams.

Did Norwood have any white lines left on the oval after Glenn played today?
