They used up a shit-load of luck in their first three games that they won by less than a goal.
It’s only round 6.

Just pathetic.
Played such good football in the first half and then to serve up that rubbish in the second half

We have learnt nothing.
Nearly every game this year we have had 1 crap quarter.
We can play great attacking football one minute and then switch to scrappy shit football at the flick of the switch.
Still play a game style that won’t hold up in September

Maybe but a third way through. This list should not lose it IMO.

We were better last year and blew it thanks to an inept coach

That second half! Garbage.
The last quarter fadeouts are now starting earlier?
IMO LJ, Mitch and Shents were our best and felt like we had more possession throughout.
Hate losing to Pt and Adel using us as practice matches.

Lol all you want it’s true.
This squad is far better when they are showing. Absolute shithouse game style

Ouch! Must hurt twice as much knowing your clubs about face allowed those two cancers into the comp?

It's not quite a case of an absolute shithouse game style. When it clicks it's unstoppable. And as you posted earlier, Jim, it's great attacking football. It's not yet capable of being sustained for 4 quarters that's all. Our Coach has, as usual, been given a great list by M Ross et al ( Barry is a steal and gets better with every game) and he's got the boys playing a style that's so much more enjoyable to watch than Bass's style - but it comes with more risk. It was good enough to get us to a GF last year and I agree it's a style that's not yet finals proof, but its not too far off. It's too simplistic to say: List = good; Coach = bad. They're all to blame for tonight's second half. Coach is to blame for the forward structure.

What is shithouse is my mood atm. Reakon (*tm) I'll sleep with the dogs tonight.

Yep. It does. Honestly - it does.

Apologies for that post. Broke my self imposed “don’t post when pissed” rule. The Crows were far too good for my mob last week- and it appears they clicked the switch again last night. I fear the gap between the haves and have nots is getting wider with every year.

I didn’t think they were very good at all and it was more us going away from what was successful in the first half. We overused the handball and started crabbing it around rather than going direct on a small Norwood oval. One thing that always frustrates me is at Norwood Oval our forwards always seem to be kicking from deep in the pockets rather than straight in front which leads to our accuracy being pretty poor
