I know it was a last minute SOS call to Redden to play for the Eagles, having retired at the end of 2022. Brinker-Richie and Lukac were both injured to begin the season. Redden has been very good.

I presume there may have been some deal/good faith made, whereby Redden would be enabled to qualify for finals for the Southern Eagles (is it 3 to qualify?)?

Who knows? With the SANFL Finals on Sunday, he might win two premierships this year!
