The envelopes the Bays snuck into the umpires pockets before the match are working a treat.

Patchy all across the wings, massive bare patches inside each 50? I don't recall it looking like that previously.

Dust clouds rising when the ball hits certain patches of the gound.

Maybe it looks better after 10 cans?

North deserve the 5 goal lead, the Bays were pathetic that quarter.

1978 GF replay coming up.

My son just noticed on the video screen it does look a lot worse than it actually is.

Just the usual we get against the Bays. They would have 50 plus flags if they only played us.

Kudos to North they brought the heat in the 3rd qtr and we couldn’t cope

22-11 Tackle count told the story

Got thumped in scores from turnover (reminded me of the Massie years)

Not sure how happy the North fan is tonight who said to our boys as we finished our warm up in Menzies Park: “c’mon you lot we want a 10 goal win from you so we can get a new coach!”
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Was going to say how shit Prospect oval looks. They need to do a re-surfacing of the ground over the summer.

Three average quarters from Glenelg, which by themselves might've seen a win.

One diabolical quarter, compounded by wayward kicking for goal and lacklustre delivery in to the forward 50 all game.

North was manifesting Dr. Jekyll rather than Mr. Hyde this week. On that performance they'd be competive finalists.

Oh well. Off to the ponderosa to salvage the double chance...

As Wally May would famously say … the Bays are gone!

North were more desperate, worked harder and thoroughly deserved the win.

The Bays continue to burn and turnover the footy in the 50m arc, there is little hope that they are up to the task this year after a 2-4 record in the last 6 games.

It’s a Grand Old Flag will be played at this year’s GF, the only doubt is with which colours.

Can any North tragics tell me how you kept McBean to 1 goal 2 points?

He always kicks a bag against Norwood.

I think Hilder was on him who is a good player plus we played Keenan Ramsey in defence who intercepted it quite a bit.

Fair play to the Prospect Council by trying to attract the 2032 Brisbane Olympics Beach Volleyball competitions from the Goldy to Prospect Oval….

We just burnt the ball all day, forward entry was horrific, again. Should’ve been at least 5 goals up at qtr time, came back to bite us, again.
