What drugs are you on Troy? When you come back to earth you might want to re-assess a few of your predictions.

Centolls- still a very good side and proven to get something out of nothing when counts

South- will make the slid down the ladder
West- start a little climb, possible make 5.
Norwood- $hite
Sturt- $hite

Premier- Eagles again over either Glenelg or Port

To be honest

Postby dash61 » Sun Nov 19, 2006 3:02 pm

Eagles Top 2 STAND OUTS
Norths

Ports Middle of the road
Centrals
Bays
Souths

Westies They have to improve

Sturts Once the pokies start generating the funds in 2008 they will rise from the ashes
Norwood

As a westies supporter and with upto 14 recruits to be named, to be competitive and consistent may be the improvement this year, if we get the key forward and ruckman any thing could be possible, to join the middle of the roaders

Norwood quite clearly start at a disadvantage, being the only club without an "s" at the end of their name.

i agree that the only thing that maybe out of place is the BAYS, and you think that he has rated the BAYS too highly you should have a look at the others who have glenelg placed from 2nd, 3rd and 4th

I'm not one to predict the future, I never have and I never will....

Still big question mark over my mob for next year, no Gibbs, Sellar, Douglas, Willits, and Logan next year on in the case of the last 3 unlikely to see much of them, the lack of depth last year exposed us.....

Therefore will be happy with sneaking into 5th spot with 11-12 wins, an improvement on this year. Another opportunity for our boys to continue their development in getting the basics right selfless team play and sticking to the structure....

We had a relatively good year in '99, an opportuunity to kick on in 2000 and it fell to pieces for three years....

This is one Bays fan not getting too excited about 2007 yet....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

PAMFC haven't won 36 flags, most were won by the side that went on to become the Power.

Good post, Im of the same opinion, Im confident that the Bays will continue to do good things as I was very impressed with their work last year and see no reason Mickan will not continue his good work BUT other Bays fans haven't mentioned the sort of players you're losing.
When Gibbs didn't play mid season this year when I/S with the state team the Bays had a bad run. I think a few Bays fans will be suprised as to how imprtant he was to the team, very impressive lad.
A lot will depend on the type of recruits they get I suppose.

Christ, don't start this again Ian, I was actually of the same belief a few years ago but after looking into the technicalities of it the Magpies are the same club (just changed their name) where the Power were a new entity taking control of the PAFC name after the Maggies gave it up.

My only hope is the Port pick up Sellar at #5, or the other AFL clubs have been scared off by his poor late seaason for and he gets picked up by Adelaide at #14.....

Unlikely but one can hope....

I wish McDermott and Felstead from the Sunday Mail were the recruiters from Adelaide and Port as they had McIntyre, Edwards, Pfeiffer and Gill all getting recruited by Port and the Crows.
Knowing our luck (and this is no way a disparaging remark against any natural disaster in the past or people who passed away during it) that'll never happen.

I do really think that at this stage. As i said it is still very early and lots can change between now and the start of next season though. For what it's worth there will be a large number of players new to North's side next year and it will take them time to adjust to the style of play as well as each other etc.

No real surprises there. Think Im a little optimistic having Port at 6 though. If we lose J Clayton, put us in the bottom 2. I haven't really seen anything other than at Port that will make me think a team will rise up the ladder or fall.

Very unlikely, but there is still a chance Richmond might still want him.

While there is still a small chance he'll go, Im nervous about it!!
