Robert Pyman has taken our underperforming club into the finals for the first time since 92 including a finals win. If that isn't someone with their finger on the pulse on how to manage players and a football side I don't know what is. He is one of our few losses, everyone else is more than happy. Cupido needs to manage Cupido, something he's failed at with his last three clubs.

Pyman and South didn't seem to have any problems with his discipline all year. They played him right to the end and appealed against his suspension as well.

They seem to have dropped off him soon after it was reported thay had signed Prendergast, allegedly for big, big dollars.

Coincidence?

Gee R&B, I think we can safely say this rumour is on the mark then?
Haven't westies fans taken a different stance on Cupido since he left South.
I rememeber the posts after he narrowly turned down Westies substantial offer last year!
Bloody salary cap dodgers.

Make sure its before Ladhams, Coulter, Alleway and Cox line up too Wedgie. Lucky Hargraves and Koops have left NA otherwise you'd have no chance of satisfying your hunger.

I for one was disappointed with his effort in the final against North. I left the ground thinking he was not worth the money he was on but as he had a two year deal was prepared to see how year two went. Obviously our powers that be also felt he hadn't lived up to his side of the deal and have offloaded him. I still have a mixed feeling on his departure as the talent is there. Perhaps it's just the way Coorong is stating that with better management he will be a superstar at West that is annoying me......

Christ mate, I'd kill to have a body like Lads, Coults and Alleway (haven't seen Coxy without his top on).
If they're fat then Im Jabba the Hut.
Alleways' built like a brick shithouse and is all chest, the girls at Prossie love him!

Don't the better managed players at West end up at Glenelg?

We still think the same, not sure what that proves?

CP's a lot closer than you on this one.

lol@r&b
Sorry to hear for Cupido's sake that you all feel the same. Poor bugger's in for a rough time.

We do thank you for confirming another in for Westies though.
Extraordinary contracts and jokes by r&b aside if he can kick 55 goals spening a lot of time at wind swept Noarlunga Im sure he'll kick a heap at Richmond Oval. Will look familiar in the red and black of Essendon too.
Exciting times at Westies especially if they can change Cupido's attitude around from what its been at his last few clubs.

Your logic path has always confused me and many others, Wedgie, but I'm not quite sure why the fact we still think South are salary cap dodgers would worry Cupido if he signs with us. :? :D

You dont have to get a kick in a SANFL 1s GF though Jabba. Alleway is OK I suppose for SANFL level. And its all relative - depends on your club's standards doesnt it? All the players I quoted were less than 100% fit and nowhere near completely totally rock solid cut in 2006 IMHO, especially at the business end. All chinks in your clubs armour but go on believing what you will - and, as an Eagle supporter, I hope the match committee think the same.

CUPIDO - on dumb and dumber did hint that he was on good $$$$$$$$ because his day job is only commission based, so im guessing his footy $$$$ is basically what he's living on.

he was on good $$$$$ at south and whatever club picks him up will have to fork it out either in cash or food!!!!!!!!!

Agree WCP,

When you see a player not chase, tackle or have any interest in playing a final against North, questions need to be asked!

Like you, I walked out thinking what a waste of $$$$'s and it was not fair on players out there busting their guts out.

So why'd you recruit him then? Ask the questions of the recruiting process, not of the player. It's hardly as if Cupido's issue should come as a surprise to anyone.

Yet another example of South's 'money fixes all' culture.
