The question has to be asked why this has become public through the Advertiser and not the League? Why does the League continue to say that no further details will be given?

Have a wild stab B&W??? Your clubs been caught cheating not once but twice - back to back. Perhaps get some stickers made that you can sell to the supporters to pay the fine with "Back to Back" on them might be an option, at least that's something South have been able to do consecutively!

Twice means your not very good at it! Perhaps a phone call or two to some other clubs re account keeping might provide some good ideas?

how would you know if North are cheating mighty tiger? What do you base that "sweeping statement" on - rumours posted on this and other forums about what certain players might be getting paid? If that was the case you could throw the names of at least 3 other clubs into that category but that doesn't suit your "I only hate North" obsession?

all clubs do a bit of "creative accounting", most clubs are good at covering their paper trails except South obviously. Some are lucky enough to have a bottomless pit in an illegal offshore tax haven.

Sure was - tell us another bit of hearsay....you know, the same sort of stuff that you so despise hearing when it comes to your club, but you'll happily spread about others.

As for salary cap - I've never bagged other clubs for 'dodging' it. And I wasn't having a shot at your club for doing the same - I was responding to your ceaseless one-eyed defence of your club.

To be honest, I don't really care about the salary cap. It's administered ineffectually and the experiences of certain clubs in this competition in recent years means that even breaking it doesn't result in the ultimate success. So sticks and stones - accuse away.

That was my point dogwatcher although I don't despise talk about North and it's alleged cheating - I just find it amusing. I do agree with you other points for what it's worth.

Can anyone attempt to explain why the league will not disclose the size of the breach?

Also, under the new rules are premiership points deductible?

This will be topical because even if the 'second' breach relates to the same year, it is arguably a further offence. I suppose South would argue its part of the first breach but if they get fined under the NEW rules, (as the Advertiser suggests), then it has to be considered a further (and second) offence because the first offence was punished under the OLD rules.

Finally, if the club picked it up, what were the auditors doing to earn their keep - then and now?

Interesting times.

Everytime someone says that North are cheating I think to myself "WOW, we've earnt that little bit more of respect and it makes me feel good, especially when the 2 teams in front of us have been prosecuted for cheating the cap where we haven't, these clowns must hold my club in higher esteem than those two clubs even though I don't understand why, it must be because of the fanatical supporters that noone can replicate"
