Since we're getting all 'Old Testament' here.
Having gone to Prospect Oval when it's raining...
Ya'd need to build Noah's Ark to get out to the centre square!

Glenelg Oval's my place of worship!

I played SANFL junior footy and having played on all the ovals would have to say I liked Prospect and the Bay. Prospect get the nod as there just seems to be a great atmosphere around the place. Also didn't mind Unley.

1st: Bay, great location, great oval, great for family
2nd: Norwood, only oval that serves decent beer
3rd: Prospect, best atmosphere, great location
4th: Thebarton, great location, good atmosphere, awesome surface
5th: Richmond, great location, best BBQ
6th: Woodville, nice grass for the kids to play on
7th: Alberton, good surface.
8th: Elizabeth, heaps of grass , facilities ok, disgraceful location, wouldn't wish my worst enemy to live near it.
9th: Noarlunga, great facilities, shocking location, terrible surface (sand based)
10th: Unley, makes a joke of the SANFL and shouldn't be allowed.

And you need an Ark to get in and out of the Southern end toilets at Prospect at times too! Having said that - the toilets at the Bay (Southern End ) are a disgrace!

Hope to get over this season and get to Noarlunga and Glenelg but
so far have to have Norwood & Prospect level pegging.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

I think that Prospect has the best BBQ.

Glenelg. No grass, apalling carparking, disgusting toilets.
Alberton. Excellent facilities, good surface, scary people.
Woodville. Excellent place to watch footy.
Richmond. Not exactly scenic but functional.
Unley. A disgrace
Prospect. surface a concern. excellent facilities
Elizabeth. Scary havent been there for 20 yrs.
Norwood. Got to love that brick wall 5 ft from the boundary. Has character though
Noarlunga. Appalling location. upstairs function area is a fantastic place to view from.Great surface(sand based, which is the only way to grow decent grass!).
with the new 3m development mooted will improve out of site in next 5 yrs.
Adelaide . love it.

Indeed... love Glenelg Oval, always did like the grounds with plenty of green around it.

Elizabeth is the greenest oval in the league next to Glenelg, therefore without any bias at all because of my allegiance to Centrals, Elizabeth is my favourite.

Only because it has green, green and more green. :D
ARRIVE... RAISE HELL... LEAVE.

Last game we played there last season, when we subtly set them up to think they had a chance at the 5, 8) the oval had more bare areas than a mangy tiger.

Reminded me of the claypan at West Whyalla.
