Panthers sign two more - just to 'cap' off the list

All discussions to do with the SANFL

Most people would assume Centrals have broken the cap (I'm not saying it) - so therefore, they'd argue that the benefits of doing so have already been shown....

Hang on Southee, who's knocking?
This thread was started by a South supporter - and the title thread indicates that some questions would be asked, inevitably, about the salary cap. So people are only addressing the issue that a South supporter brought up.

I think the issue is over and done with.

South got caught -yes.

Others are doing it and have not been caught. Time will tell.

Lets get on with footy.

Again Southee - you've missed the point of this thread.
And the conversation which has followed.
And as far as knockers are concerned - there's only been one.
Maybe have another read.

well why not, they are an easy target. 8)

until proven guilty (again ;) ) i say congrats to south for being able to recruit the players they can....its great they show them the oval in summer otherwise these guys wouldnt show up in winter ;) It really is a credit to their recruiting team and they are one club that deserves a flag for their long waiting fans.

EDIT: mix their recruiting with some good promising jrs and that flag may be closer than we think :!:

You can produce evidence of this?
Rather ambigious claim, methinks

Surely you're not that naive, PR? I would think that only the most inexperienced SANFL supporter would claim that only the one club has done, or even is doing, this - the difference is South got found out.

Good try, southee.

2 different breaches in 2 different seasons and maybe more to come.

The first breach was a major deliberate breach.

All SANFL followers will look forward to see how you can fit McGrath into an already bursting salary cap.

Both salary cap breaches were for the 2005 season. The second one was found during 2006. South were open about it, fessed up, got fined, are now everyones whipping boy until another club gets caught . Its only a matter of time. Get over it.
