What number would you wear?

All discussions to do with the SANFL

I always wore 9, just 'cause it was the first number I wore and most junior clubs didn't have 33 or 44, etc.

Oh, also I had Grenville 5 Dietrich on my duffle coat.
Recently I ordered a couple of guernseys for the kids and they were really undecided who as to get on there back.
One ended up going for 10 (Ivens and Barrie of course) and the other 14 (Brett White).
Would have been a no brainer in recent years as my son loved Jason Roe and then Matt Campbell where my daughter loved Hargs!

Hey all,

The question is more so what number you'd wear "as a fan" - not so much what you wore when you were younger!

#3 for me, just because it's the number i started with and was superstitious and never wanted to change it

the couple times I changed clubs I always ensured prior to signing that #3 was available, if not, I did not agree to sign

U15's I wore # 3

U17's I wore # 33

Last club I played at, # 5, I was happy, 'cause it was Grenville's number (and he was still @ North then)

I also wore # 5 for 6 years playing basketball

Played with 5 always, to old for the duffle coat thing but...if asked to choose, probably Borch at 23 or Jezza 25 ( an old Carlton connection)

When I was younger I always wanted to wear #21 because of Craig Bradley.

Or #5 for Tim Evans.
