Would Hill consider using Borlace to stop him in the hope that your other midfielders are better than their other midfielders? I'm convinced that in order to beat Port you've got to have someone within touching distance of Clayton for the whole game and you need a very good player who can not only have the discipline to follow, but also compete when needed.

I agree with all of this, however Borlace would be too slow for Clayton and not a strong enough tackler IMHO ... I suggested a few weeks back that if he were playing this might be a good job for Matty Thomas though.

kicks a point from 30 m out dead in front (Nathan Bock/Ian Perrie style ) and then looks to where the non-existant zepher is coming from....

Completely agree. I would much prefer to see him running around for the Power in September, but if the Power dont make the finals, then Tredrea will be eligible to play for the Magpies.
