If the Crows are training at Woodville to adjust to the longer ground, wouldn't it have made more sense to go out to Elizabeth as the ovals are closer in dimensions?

Alberton is more of a true "oval" shape whereas Richmond is flat on the wings with semi-circular ends. As far as I can tell they're a similar length, Alberton a few metres wider.

I think it's a perception thing based on the size of the outer.

I've always thought Unley was small compared to other ovals, but the outer has always been smaller than other grounds even before it was turned into a park.
