FFS - we missed the GF by 7 points last year so in reality Jarman and North should have aspirations to at least make the GF this year so why not set your target as that and be honest about it. At times I am a critic of Jarman despite being a North supporter but a cheap shot from a bays supporter of all people about another teams coach is a bit rich?

At least Jarman has a say and an opinion whether people like it or not from time to time including his own clubs supporters who by the way have the right to have a crack back which we do (often!). Are you that bored or just so content about your clubs achievements since 1986 that it is open season on other coaches.

So tell us what "lofty" goals Mickan has. Would one be to try and piss off the Power by any chance?

P.S. By the way I don't think North will make the GF personally. It would be nice but can't see it happening this year IMO

i wasn't having a crack at him it was honestly refreshing but i was amazed what he said & if you get the exact transcript you would be too, so can someone who got a tape of the game put up exactly what he said PLEASE

Why is anyone surprised at his statement ???

After his inability to reach the GF with arguably the best list in the league last year, he should believe that they will be there this year.

I am not a Jarman fan ( I was when he played, particularlt for North & State in the 80's ) but...

Facts are they have underachieved under his leadership & I think he has recognised this & believes that this MUST be the year.

Time will tell.

P.S. I too love the avatar & the GAYNELG sledge... more of the same please

Top 3 minimum if the injuries continue as they are presently and hopefully a bit of luck and lessons learnt from last year to get to the GF but geez we would want to make a start to get out of the pack and up around the top three soon.
