Don't know how people expect us to capture the youth market with a group who obviously watched the majority of their football in the mid to late sixties.

Not certain of the name of the song, but the line goes something like this;

".......Gonna kick back, crack the top off a Pale ale and watch the Double Blues prevail...."

They sound relaxed ... No wonder as they're obviously at the Parade!

why not cross each footer club with a local band or somebody originally from adelaide
eg if the hilltop hoods support sturt they do the sturt song
the hot lies could do eg glenelg
wolf & cub could do norwood
barnesy could do centrals etc etc

this way you could cross musical styles and include multiple local bands.
the initial idea certainly has legs and should be investigated

more than happy to provide some background help as have knowledge of, and some contacts in the industry.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

Shudder.

Another little known fact is that Rob Younger, lead singer for the mighty Radio Birdman, is a Sturt man due to the fact that his Grandfather played a stack of games for them. Add to that Tim Rogers from You am I and you wonder what Sturt did to get so lucky on the rock front.

could be organised by clanger (greg klenjeans) from the grace emily.
long haired tatooed ex-south adelaide player from the late 80's or early 90's.
he also plays in the shandy butchers - could get them to play and get premier mikey rann to sing 'go panthers' over the top.

There must be something in that for it to brought up again.
I am still yet to hear a tune by the Hilltop Hoods, and I have just learnt that they are an Adelaide band...are they any good?
I want to be sure we are passing the sacred verses over to competent people before they take the sissors out and re-arrange the thing.
