North Adelaide loses Hart.

Like the Advertiser would even mention North. Headline would be more along the lines of:

"Former Crows Star Retires"

Oh! Well how about "North Hartless"

Didn't that get used when Darel got his marching orders  Mind you there must be some old one's from 2003 they can re-use to save print costs?

I havent heard hart is retiring 100% confirmed yet . But Didnt he sign a two year contract.

I would be seriously upset if i was a rooster supporter.

thanks for chewing up the salary cap ben. the roosters may have been able to afford livingstone or morgan for their backline instead.

Hope you're right dash.
It'd be weird if his only 2 games for the year so far were against the Dogs.

Maybe he's trying to impress Us, to ensure a smooth & successful transition to Doggie Land

We lost one Hart to the Roosters - he gave them plenty of service - but we don't need one back.

Haven't read any newspapers or seen/heard any news reports lately. Did anyone retire at all?

In today's paper there is a small article where James Moore said Hart trained last night and will play against Centrals. He denied that Hart was retiring.

My mail is that there has been sudden about face/change of heart (pardon the pun) as a result of a meeting from the relevant parties - hence the denial from North. One more injury and I think it will be a change of heart again?

maybe didnt put a lot of thinking into the decision before the season but still, he will be great to have around the club if he does call it a day.

i would loved to have had sanderson or russell come back for a few years or even a year after they finished up.

Kieran McGuiness would have been handy for North.

I used to think like this Jimmy. But nowdays I am sceptical because I can't recall too many blokes that were of a fair service for their SANFL clubs after playing all but a year or two of their potential footy careers in the AFL. That fat dude from Carlton that came over to make easy bucks at Sturt when we were in our darkest hours is perhaps an extreme example of how the retired AFL stars can get found out in the SANFL. I can't remember too many really making an impact though. Except A. Jarman.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
