hmmmmmmm.................I'm begining to wonder.....

and Im not just saying this now...some might remember me bringing this up pre-season....in particular one forward who doesnt seem to be the star that they all hoped...

Hes averaged 2 goals a game and would be in the top 10 of our best and fairest at the moment. Was beaten today but has played well this year. At the moment he is 20 times better than who we had there last year. He could kick 10 goals every week and youd still say hes no good.

Weve been dissapointing but we are still 2nd on the ladder. Go figure! Last year we killed everyone early then fell in a heap. Hopefully this year we put it together when it counts, which is all that matters.

You missed a few words out of Macca's quote there Dutchy, bit unfair to quote him not only out of context but completely inaccurately.

Dissapointing result from a Port perspective. Norwood were much classier with the ball. Very quick running out of the backlines. Our forward line was a bit of a mess today. Clive was dangerous all day and kicked 4, played well. Hargraves kicked 1 from 3 or 4 gettable shots. Should have made them count. Lecras kicked 2 but was beaten by Lower. Our crumbers were non existant.

As PortAdelaideProud said, we didnt play a Port Adelaide game today. Very selfish, not much run, not much attack on the ball, no chasing and very undisciplined. Jeremy had one of his days where he looked like he didnt want to play, gave away stupid free kicks - one especially just before half time where he won the ball on the back flank, kicked it to a free player up field who had 3 other free players ahead, certain goal, until Jeremy decided to knee the Norwood bloke he won the ball off in the head 50 metres behind the play and turn the ball over. Harry Miller barely had a kick. Summerton was awesome, as was Biacsi. Greenwood continued his stunning form since his debut. Brad Ebert had a debut he will most likely want to forget.

Jesse Aish kicked 4 in the first half but barely had a kick after half time. Gave Perkins a bath in the first half though. Vlatko kicked 2 but probably should have had more. Has developed a lot this year. Cockshell was dangerous but cant kick. Bailey was good. Gallagher was my pick for BOG. Culpitt was huge early. Jackman and Mcguiness were good.

When Norwood turn it on they look very good. They are just too inconsistent at the moment. Same can be said for Port.

Your quote of him was:

And as I said:

Fair enough Macca, that makes sense now.

I always respect your reports as you always give such a non biased great description of games.

I would love to see some stats but id say his stats would match those of any other CHF in the league this year.

Before today he was averaging 14 disposals, 5 marks and 2 goals a game. Kicked 3x3 and 1x4.
