Is a home game for me!

I've got to do some work at quarter time - but apart from that, it'll be all beers and cheers for me.

Well done to the south and West football clubs playing home games
at Encounter Bay and Berri
Great promotions in thier bush areas just a shame they both will get
no premiership points for thier efforts

Both clubs should have a free bus service for members.

Involve all of it's members. Get em together for a free Bar-B-Q at Berri....

Not directly, Mal, but every little bit helps the overall cause. They might get a few more members, which are always valuable, but also it might just be an influence on any potential players, which may end up becoming an important part of the team. It won't be the only influence, and probably a very small one, but like I said, every little bit helps sometimes.

A short Article in the Adevertiser about the game on saturday by Doug Robertson

CENTRAL District and West Adelaide will stay overnight in the Riverland on Friday to prepare for the clash at Berri the following day.

However, the squads are unlikely to cross paths until Saturday with Central booking a hotel in Barmera and the Bloods settling at the Berri Hotel.

The clubs face extra expense taking the SANFL to the country but both said the investment was justifiable.

Central general manager Kris Grant said the game would showcase SANFL football. "We wouldn't want to do it all the time (play in the country) but we're prepared to pay the extra bit to help foster the SANFL throughout South Australia," he said.

West Adelaide's under-17s - to play Central in the curtain-raiser - would be billeted in the Riverland on Friday night. The Bulldogs juniors will travel to Berri by bus on Saturday.

West has estimated a crowd in excess of 3000 will attend the match. "We're hoping the crowd will (cover costs)," football manager Scott Turner said.

Might have to head across to the Barmera Hotel to see if some of the boys want a drink ;)

Also, Westies are doing a coaching clinic at St Albert's Catholic School in Loxton on Friday morning.
