I'd go to Sturt games if they played more on a Friday night or a Sunday. Can't watch the blues if you are playing ametuer footy yourself.

I think this is the most important point. The people who are most hurt who we would probably get a large turn out from are the people who play, help out with and watch amateur footy. Moving away from Saturday afternoons will help these guys attend more regularly. In terms of programming I think we should have a lot more night games, avoid crows/power games wherever possible and schedule 4 regional games a season. Then we can reach each club's regional zone almost once every 2 years. Perhaps we can even make some an annual event when the regional zone is fairly close like Central's in the barossa. I don't think there's a panacea here, but we can do as many of the little things right, surely.

So true, Whilst I must apologise for not attending Nourlunga on Sun but I had more pressing issues to attend to (uni assignments).

However crowds should be up a little this week, the SAAFL from Div 2 down have a mid season break and I for one will be taking full advantage of this.
