Its not a matter of who Channel 2 will pick as there's only 1 game on Saturday.

On a bit of a side note, it's interesting that there's only one Saturday game this week given there's no AFL games on this Saturday, but I think Sturt v Port is the match of the round - Sturt are on fire, Port will be hungry to get out of their form slump.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

On form Sturt should kill Port.

Which is why Sturt v Port is the game of the round. What is better than watching Port get thumped? It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Maybe I am biased tho ..... North v Eagles for mine

the sturt/port rivalry, its at unley, port need a win to get back on track, can sturt continue this form, port would love to knock us off esp after our win vs the dogs.

some of those things can apply to north/eagles game, but it hasnt got the tradition behind it. altho both should be crackers of a game.

Its true Jimmy, after all Sturt and port have carried the sanfl for years.

I can see that comment causing an uproar!
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Your right strutty. Sturt were carrying the comp for years because they had to prop up the premiership table for eight seasons in a row ha ha.

North vs Eagles will be a crackerjack game. Is certainly going to be a tightly fought contest with both teams with their backs to the wall coming of hidings on the weekend they should both be keen to atone and give their supporters something to cheer about. C'MON EAGLES 8)

I reckon both games should be crackers, but somehow I think that Eagles and North are pretty evenly matched, and have performed at a higher level for longer than either Sturt or Port. Last week's freak results could almost be thrown out the window so far as the Roosters and the Eagles are concerned IMO. Probably they were more focussed on this week than the games they actually played in last week.
Sturt vs Port should be a belter also. Port would be wanting to get back at Sturt for snatching the points at Alberton earlier this year, and the Blues will be under the microscope to see if they can handle the return to Earth after such an emotional victory against the Dogs. I am a bit worried about us backing up that performance, we didn't back up our last against all odds victory, which was ironically against the Pies, and actually got thumped in the following three games. With all this in mind, the game at Unley is less assured of being the blockbuster I expect from the Eagles and North.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

North v Eagles for me, should be a good game.

All Eagles and North fans if you aren't doing anything Saturday, make your way down to Woodville for the 17's and 19's games, maybe Wedgie can get there and take a couple pics.

Not really. Neither Glenelg or the Roosters would want a 5-day break between games.

When the draft of the draw was sent out to the club's for comment prior to adoption, it had this week's North vs. Eagles game down for Saturday but the NAFC requested the change due to having to play last Monday which would have meant a very short 4 day break. The Eagles agreed to the change. I assume the same applied to Glenelg?

From memory Centrals had a 3 or 4 day break after one Anzac Day game in recent years - maybe one of the Doggie's poster's can recall that one?
