Gaw, how old is Robert Oatey??
Heard David Welsby on 5AArse tonight on Where Are they Now? Quite an amazing story, retiring as he did at 22 (or was it 24?)

Interesting that the legends teams (from all clubs in all forms) seem to be getting younger. Or I am getting older. Probably the latter.

They are always good entertainment value though. Well done to the clubs for participating.

2. Be interesting to see what shape big Ugo is in

It was mentioned on Tuesday that he was a bit over his playing weight

Lucky this game only goes for about 15 mins, dont want to tire out all our players...

Wish I could make it on Friday night. Would love to see Andrew Johns out there. He was a player who really deserved to see more success.

What's everyone's crowd prediction?

I'll go with 5,243.

Yeah, he did suffer a bit of the Adam Gilchrist/Prince Charles syndrome...

As for Robert Oatey, I figure he'll be ok as long as the ball doesn't go to ground... In all seriousness, good on him for turning out to show his interest and support in what will hopefully be one of the years most memorable nights of footy...

Can't believe the game is starting at 8. Going to be so cold and end very late.

I'll be there of course but still, it's far from ideal.

Harden up mate.

There will be plenty of Sturt supporters there so if the home side can hold up their end of the bargain and turn out in force also, then no reason why the game shouldn't attract 7,500 + which should heat things up a little.

Should be a ripper of a game and I can't wait.

Brodie played for Echunga last weekend, it was his first game I think and he kicked 10 goals, 5 in the first 1/4
not much opposition though as Gumeracha are really struggling 41 goals to 4 goals

Trust me, he looked a million times better in them than Anthony "Plugger" Pierri ever did.
