if i remember rightly robin kidney made his debut 1983 against the dogs at elizabeth and he might have even kicked a goal with his first kick. He was a surprise inclusion in our 85gf side, mark motlop was the surprise omission, i remember the next day out the front of the club there were 3 gentleman playing music one banjo won one trumpet etc you know what i mean and robin joined in much to the amusement of the throng who were still celebrating with great gusto
he also used to frequent the deli opposite the marion pub and seemed an ok guy
