Yeah Tas it does "BODES" well...where is Bodey ??
Anyhow Glenelg should beat Norwood comfortably on current form.
If this is the case then the Bays would've beaten Norwood, Sturt
North all top five sides.
Really need to get on top early and win with conviction...

... with should being the operative word. This is by no means a certain win.

Consider that all but one of Norwood's wins has happened away from the Parade.

Consider also that Norwood's only home win was against Glenelg, and this was Glenelg's biggest loss of the season.

Glenelg showed last time that it can match Norwood for intensity. They lost it when they went on the back foot and started pissing the ball back and forth among themselves. To win this game they have to play four quarters of confident attacking footy.

Still think the Legs were "off" for the first half in that game at the Parade and only Glenelg's bad kicking on goal kept us from being well behind at the main break ... We upped the ante thankfully in the 3rd quarter, but as Pseudo said the Bays did themselves no favours with an unnatural attempt at "tempo" footy.

The Bays seem to bring their endeavour every week which gives them half a chance from the get go, the same cannot be said of Norwood.

With the Leg's confidence still bruised and battered it will depend on which Norwood side arrives, the one that legitimately wants to get their hands dirty, or the one that doesn't (which is generally what they've brought to the Bay in recent times) ... If it's the former I'll say Bays win by less than 30, if its that latter then it will be Bays by 60+ again.

I get the feeling Norwood will get their season back on track this week with a win. Glenelg supporters seem very confident. Perhaps unfounded with the ease Central brushed them aside last week?

Aerie, at the Centrals game, and I don't think they brushed the Bays aside...since when is 16 points a brush aside??
They brushed your mob aside on Anzac day if I remember correctly....
Pseudo, I agree "should" is the word...
They should win, and if they are serious about the finals MUST win.
Norwood have the same reasons, but home ground advantage may prevail....

this is the game that will put us in the 5 for the first time this season, it is a MUST WIN.

Norwood are in the same boat we are, we are fighting for the same position on the table at this stage.

They defeated us at norwood oval on the friday night and as mentioned before we helped Norwood win by playing that absolute bullshite AFL hands off high possession game.

if the weather is dry, then I think we can win quite comfortably, but if there is a hint of rain then it brings norwood right into the game.

AERIE - I believe we have every right to be confident, we have performed quite well in the last 4 or 5 weeks, even in last weeks loss there were positives.

Depending on the weather and which Glenelg team rock up will depend on the winning margin.

If we lose this game at HOME, then we will not and do not deserve to play finals footy, and it will be another year wasted.

CP - we didnt choke we werent good enough!!!!!!!!
