Leave Pyman alone, a top bloke and the potential to be a top coach.
Schneebichler would sent the club into ruin IMHO.

If he's such a 'top bloke' why aren't his players playing for him. Everything I hear from those around the club goes against what you're saying Wedgie. That's not to say that I think he's the sole reason for the panthers problems...

Good question, but I think its more to do with the sort of people that have been recruited to the club and believe you and me Pyman didn't have the final say in a lot of them.

The people at the club who are saying bad things about him are the very reason the club's going backwards IMHO.

PS I think the Admin is right, just need to get the board right IMHO.

Dude, you're the one looking for quick fixes and white anting the club, don't blame me.
You'll turn into a Glenelg Mark II (ie joke) if you keep blaming the coach, trust me, its not the coaches fault.

Do agree with you regarding the board Wedgie but its obvious the players are showing no respect for the coach.

You may think he's a great guy but ask some of the players there now and some that have left the club what they think of the coach.

The sort of blokes that would leave the club because of the coach and the sort of blokes that are still there despite not liking the coach are the very reason South are where they are.
The coach isn't soft, the players that left because of him or stay there to collect the $$$ are soft.
The people at South the keep paying them are the worst offenders at keeping them down.

They really should let the board be taken over by people from the SFL, then the club will be a force in no time.
Having said that my daughter is best friends with the Pres's grand daughter so I shouldn't be too harsh!

Honestly, this club needs a huge shake up, they've got so much talent and set up its almost criminal that they're not in the top 5.

Quick fixes. Mate, seriously i have been waiting since 1964 for a quick fix.
As a South supporter we have heard it all (ask any South supporter!!).
What the plans are.
It wont happen overnight. etc...

When you see a performance like that today questions have to be asked.

Fair enough mate, but if you're after continual quick fixes you'll end up a rabble like Glenelg have ben over the last 17 years.
Don't keep questioning the board, make a run for the board if you're that passionate about it, I know I sure as hell would have if I was a South fan.

Yeah - well I wish I could if I had the time. I do like your idea on the SFL running the club.
It is criminal they are not in the 5 - thats what hurts every South supporter.
We where told this year Wedgie that the board would be accountable to under par performances and members would be advised on ways of rectifying them. I have not heard nothing nor have other members.
I dont think they know either....(the board)
Sorry to be negative but mate - it's killing me!!! :(

Mate, I have no problems with you being negative but instead of complaining about it its time for South supporters to stand up and make a stand instead of listening to what they're told from the board every year.

My club did things I didn't like in the mid 90s (ie propose merger) so I and my mates stood up against it and helped stop it.
Then early this century my club was down and out so me and my mates stood up and helped stopped them falling over.

Its amazing what a supporter can do, its time for South supporters to get up and do something if they're not happy with it as opposed to just whinging every year otherwise you'll end up a rabble like Glenelg.

That's two rabbles like Glenelg within three derogatory remarks about Glenelg in 4 posts Wedgie. Don't know why but the last one cracked me up.

Let's face it, if you're going to judge a rabble, then Glenelg are the benchmark!

Geez, is that where the players are at?

I'm with Wedgie re his comments about Pyman and supporters blaming him for all the problems. If I was CEO of South, and the players gave me an ultimatum like that I know what I'd do - especially if I had the cash to spend on new gys. It's time to go ......... non-committed, sh*t-stirring players!

If you give the players that much power over the club you create the biggest ever rod for your own back in the future.

What's to stop the players back-stabbing the next guy because he makes them swim at Noarlunga at 6AM after a loss? Or because he drops one of their mates?

This is why you need a very capable club CEO and Board to steer the club through these waters and get everyone back on the same page. Ultimatums are a short-term band-aid fix but won't cure the cancer.

South supporters - get behind your club! Write to the CEO, give them your thoughts! Stop bagging them out.
