Well played Port and well played Hargs - a deserving win for the 'pies who were switched on from the opening bounce and exposed North today.

It is a little hard to work out if Port have improved that much since the last meeting with North based purely on the fact that North gave no contest today but we were thoroughly out played, out bustled and shown to be very soft when the pressure was applied.

Sadly North have been shown for not the first time this year that they are mentally and physically soft when the pressure is applied and now looks like we are making up the numbers.

A couple of points:

One bad coaching move only today I thought which I have since found out was forced by the Crows and that was to play Perrie back for half a game??

Ben Hart - why would you drop Schubert for him???

Motlop - for 3 weeks thought he was carrying an injury but today I finally realised he is just lazy - no more excuses for you and back to the two's it should be to wake you up!

Ladhams - you are a pouting big sook and if you are injured then miss a few and get fit. I and others are sick of making excuses for you especially when you shamed yourself by arguing with a prominent supporter in the last quarter over a comment that wasn't directed at you but chose to believe was directed at you. Concentrate on playing football instead of pouting. And if you do miss one or two games whilst getting fit then also try to find a personality whilst your at it!

He has had trouble with his groins all season but that is no excuse for his attitude IMO and if you had witnessed his arguement with a very prominent North supporter in the dying minutes of the game then you will understand why he isn't too popular. He has talent and can be a match winner but only whe he wants to be and more often than not when the team is going well. He is presently not the sort of player that can drag you back into a game by example. 2 years ago Jars "tuned him up" by playing him off half back for a couple of weeks. Time for something to happen and if he is injured then he should miss a game or two and come back with fitness adn the right attitude.

Yeah Jimmy. It was Wedgie. Lads thoought Wedgie had directed a comment at him, when he was really directing it at Port's Lokan. Big misunderstanding really. They shook hands at the end of the game, Lads and Wedgie that is, after Lads realised he had misunderstood.

Not good from though, to have a slagging match with one of your own fans, whilst the game is on. Maybe if he concentrated on the game as much as the arguement, he might have shown something today.

He came out with one comment regarding Wedgies loyalty to North, which I found particularly distasteful, for which he should apologise for.

I wasn't there of course, just passing on what Wedgie posted on the Roost, and I think, maybe somewhere on here IIRC.
