How long before Laird joins an AFL club guys? A more impressive SANFL coach there is not. I personally think he would make an exelent AFL coach, and the man knows how to win. His players give him everything, he has their respect, and obviously follow his instructions to the letter. Every Centrals player on the field seamed to know where they needed to position themselves on most occasions as oposed to North who, when they did get their hands on it, seamed to have little structure, especially going forward. Laird appears good tactician, exelent leader and great manager of people. Piss off Mumbles back to the Redlegs and bring on Laird............might win a final or two with him coaching.
Choco Williams Lives!!! We have seen the REVOLUTION come and go. You have "LIVED THE CREED". All you Power people are now gonna have to "KEEP THE FAITH". Slogan for 2010-11 PAFC.....or is it PAPFC.......I never get it right.

At the chimney presentation just now, Roy stated that 10 new premiership players under 23 were added to the club honour roll on the weekend. Pretty shiny future from that lot alone I reckon.

Don't think your right Diss. Defamatory is any public statement which leads to loss of reputation. The agrrieved individual would have to show how the negative comments impacted on their welfare and prove a tangible loss for any damages to be paid.

Regardless, it usually is.
I can't imagine anything on this site at the moment being used in any form of lawsuit at ALL.

And comments on here affecting their welfare damages? Good luck :)

Some people should stick to drawing.

A question (and I think a valid one) has Shane Schubert been reported following Sunday?

Yes he has,

As a legend of the game for hitting Gowans.

Hope he gets a meal voucher at "Charlies" for his efforts.

Small-man syndrome will be the charge on Gowans...........again.

Thanks for adding value.

I'm unsure if we have trial by video any more though do we? If we do, he may find himself in trouble.

As clearly shown on Channel 7 news on Monday night, the big fella clotheslined Gowans as he ran past him. The vision showed very clearly the incident.

Anyway, I didn't ask the question for a debate. I asked the question as I was curious to see if he had been. As he hasn't, I'm happy to leave it at that.

On the video you can see Schubert knocks Gowans to the ground, then gives Gowans a clip on the way past as he (Schubert) chases the ball. As soon as Gowans gets up you can see he's hell bent on catching Schubert and we all know what happens when he does. That was what Gowans was claiming he was squaring up for, but I couldn't quite tell what Schubert actually did because the angle was from directly behind.

I don't think the SANFL does trial by video though for some reason, but are Central allowed to present video evidence as part of a defense? Gowans will definitely get suspended, but the club will try to reduce the length of the suspension as much as they can.

Didn't the rules get changed after Centrals squealed about Macca after the 1997 Prelim?

Not sure why my question warranted such a thin skinned response but you'd have your reasons I guess.

I've moved on from 1997, it's just a shame the club I support hasn't.

Not thin skinned, just off the cuff treatment of your "squealing" comment. Play on.

Your club has moved on several times, it just hasn't worked out that it's on the Brittania Roundabout yet.
