He clearly knocked himself out by running into the invisible tree branch that haunts the bay oval. Justin McConnel used to trip over it all the time. Only Backwell could see it - he was always ducking under it.

That no one has seen the incident (or not professing to have seen it), that Kirk himself hasn't come out and said what happened (which you would think he would if it was an accident) or any other player for that matter, we are just going to have to accept that it was a football collision and move on, however hard it is to believe that you can have such a football collision 50m away from the play.

Perhaps Kirky has come out and spoken to people at Sturt. He's definitely told Glenelg what happened. The information I have heard was it was nothing more then a football collision and that's it.

In the mean time, keep thinking about the conspiracies, and keep assassinating Kirky's character.

Nothing better then assuming a bloke is guilty of "thuggery" when you have no evidence of such.

Where have I put forward a conspiracy theory, when have I assassinated his character? I've basically just pointed out that there is no real evidence either way and that we have to accept that it is a football collision, remembering that most football collisions happen reasonably near the ball.
So have another read and just admit that your wrong. :) then if you're big enough you can give me an apology ;)

Worse thing for the Glenelg bloke is KARMA has a very funny way of catching up with people, it may not happen this week, next week or in a years time but karma tends to bite most people on the a..... sorry bottom.

There have been numerous incidents on sports fields where an injury occurs without there being a reportable incident to cause it.

I can't believe that without anyone seeing the incident, a player's reputation is affected and is tarnished to being known as "a thug".

I would have thought the Sturt Cheer Squad would have had a good view? It happened at their end of the ground?
Surely another Sturt player would have remonstrated straight away if a vicious act occurred.

No-one from the Sturt FC wants to take it any further, so why do some posters on here?
I would have expected any Sturt supporter from the crowd who could be a witness, would have put their hand up by now.
It's obvious there isn't any evidence to back up an act of violence occurred.

Should this be a topic for the 'Conspiracy Theory Lover's Thread?" :?

If it does not break any confidence, please elaborate on what he has told Glenelg. I am finding it hard to imagine a football collision that could occur in the circumstances described. I am dead against any behind the play acts that tarnish our competition. I am left a little disappointed that the league have put their heads in the sand and release a statement along the lines of "we have no footage and we have not really tried to find out what happened therefore we don't have any evidence and can't proceed". The SANFL should be doing more to provide an answer about what occurred.

Wouldn't matter if Kirk told GFC Officials that he deliberately took out Wundke, they were hardly going to hand him up and he isn't going to certainly admit anything to the opposing club or SANFL now is he? "Football collision" is another way of saying Kirk got lucky!

Kirk obviously hasn't done much to clear his name as far as the Sturt footy club are concerned.

How far away from the play was this "football collision"?

So Sturt are frustrated the SANFL didnt report Kirk, but how do they expect the charge to stick if no one saw anything?

I find it very hard to believe no Sturt player would have seen what happened if it was malicous.

You're an idiot. I have never insinuated Kirk was a sniper, you in your paranoia have interpreted that. If anything I've suggested that the whole thing be forgotten about.
That's it, I'm not going to argue with such a tool as yourself, I'm right, your wrong, I'm cool and you're a tool!

Although there may be nothing in the incident in the wash up, the Glenelg supporters here would probably react the same way if they saw one of their players hospitalised.

Don't let me get in the way of the flying off handles though. Seems like an interesting hobby.
