It would seem they were investigated. Not sure why people have their knickers in a knot.

I hadn't heard we were being investigated (which is not to say it didn't happen though), and Joe was always going to retire. I reckon Centrals' copped a lot of the Salary Cap suspicion when they were racking up flags so I think it probably just comes with the territory. Particularly in our case when unlike the Dogs we've been found guilty of breaching in recent seasons.

Every club has their books checked at the end of the year, wouldn't call it being investigated. Even if the SANFL had a harder look at our books it has shown nothing that would say we were in breach of any of the salary cap rules.

See...did he say they had? All he said was that it was being investigated. Knickers/knots.

Ha, hardly. Just trying to put this issue to bed. The only winners out of this argument seem to be Cibo with more people going there to try and hear any further whispers of rule breaches :D

Well we don't know as you have said absolutely nothing at this stage. Again. Blowing smoke again.

State exactly what you know and who said it .

I think it's a Centrals thing . Dobby dob and I told you so. Really if you know something then just say it.

Like school kids , wanting to say it first.

Who did you overhear? 2 random blokes having a convo??

or is this just a fishing expedition?

No, I was having a chat with a board member & they told me!

Why the **** would they tell YOU anything?

I believe the SANFL will then compel Norwood to get the books. Not sure what power they have there, or what the "or else" would be.

Traceability back through the players. Unless they were paid in cash of course.

Similar to what went on at Elizabeth for years. So greedy for success, the club actually bankrupted GMH & forced a future closure lol

A question on the salary cap. If a team pays all of its senior squad $400 per match but each player is paid a sign on fee of varying amounts, is the sign on fee counted in the salary cap?

Getting caught aain might be as bad as getting caught again.

Yep, basically base contract + match payments.

Good to see so much red and white on a premiership cap.
Is white Norwoods answer to the Powers turquoise?

Nah the white represents the colour of the flag North put up during the last quarter of the 2013 GF ;)

Give us a break! We were coming off 5 straight losses in the minor round and played a few decent finals, at least it made for a good send off of Footy Pk :)

Ummm, kicking 4 goals in a GF would hardly constitute "a good send off" to footy pk
