Considering the amount of tickets they've given away, members, walk up starters and a nice looking day all things point to a good turnout.

James Gallagher has only hung around Norwood for a decade now in the hope that long-lost brother David is gonna show up.

Before the 2nd semi, everybody (but norwood supporters) wrote off the Leggies  because they hadn't played for close to 3 weeks. (out in straight sets wasn't it   ) Now you're saying 2 games in 5 weeks is going to hurt the 'legs. You've played 3 finals in a row and your tired legs will be chasing 'Legs gurnsys over 4 quarters. Attitude counts for a lot in football and the 'Legs have the attitude, freshness and desire to make Westie miserable on Sunday. :D :D

This will be a arm wrestle from go to woe. If we don't turn up 100% switched on, we'll get rolled! West is the best opposition we've played this year and we will have to play our best to win.
If you don't like tough, contested football between two well coached teams this game won't be for you! And if you think this type of football is boring then go watch basketball, that's high scoring and non-contact, which some of you would be used to!
The crowd won't be big, unfortunately West don't have any supporters and the ticket prices are to high (not for us rich Norwood people).
One things guaranteed, the Norwood Army will be out in force!
As for Bass, he's a f**king legend!
GO THE REDLEGS!

bandwagoner ...

Yeah you're right...I did jump on the "BANDWAGON" just after I went to my first game in the late 70's with my late great Grandpa and my old man, I just haven't jumped off yet!
It's been an awesome ride and days like sunday is what it's all about......bring it on!!!

Anything and I mean anything that makes this game exciting is what we want, just no blow outs please.
If it's a 2-2 draw at half time then they better crank up some home made UFC onfield ;)

The Advertiser has done it again. List of figures for the GF says 0 Players have won the Jack Oatey Medal when basic research would have told them that the third ever winner of the medal was from Westies. Idiots

Not last year. The crowd last year was 25,234.

The previous 4 years when Central played North, Glenelg, Sturt and Norwood all drew over 30k but when Central have played West and Eagles (4 times) in the last 10 years each of the crowds have ranged between 24 and 28k.

Granted but the layoff could also mean rusty and stale. That type of layoff can effect sides differently. While it is great to have swagger and attitude. Belief is more important the belief that you can win this. I just feel in the first quarter they may be a little rusty it is wait and see. It should be a cracker of a game. And playing 3 weeks can help sides also there have been sides that have won after playing three weeks in a row.
