I didnt get their until just before 1/4 time of the league game. It seemed to be a fairly high standard trial game.

Both teams had lots of league players out and both coaches will take plenty of positives away from the game.

From a Centrals point of view i saw the positives as

-Dominated the rucks and clearances again, this seems it maybe a strength for us this year
-Castree, has that knack of winning plenty of the ball and generally uses it very well.
-Edmeads pace is critical to this side, plenty of upside.
-Waldhutters attack on the player and ball, his skills arent great but if he stays away from being cute with the ball he could be a serious player
-Dallas Hill reminds me of a very young Dan Havelberg, will be intersting to see how he goes if Obst and HArdy come back into the side and he becomes the 3rd tall.
-Meulendykes looks like he could be a decent league, has a real crack and is very polished
-O'Hara and Dutschke getting more game time into them, these two will be critical

Negatives imho
-when we turn the ball over its a free pass for the other team to score, we are very slow on the turnaround and unless the other team stuffs up its a certain scoring shot
-maybe another couple of injuries to important players, seems as if Jarrod Schiller has torn a muscle.
-Tall defenders, i hate to say it and ill probably get caned but Yves Sibenaler is really struggling, unless there is the perfect match up he becomes a liability, his lack of pace means if a ball is turnedoved and his not on his opponent, then they get a free goal ticket. The other worry for him is the amount of time he has been out muscled in the first two trial games.
-skills at times are still pretty ordinary, a few need to know what their capabilites are with the ball and stick within those barriers.
