But to us Port supporters:

2 teams
1 club
1 history

1 club?

1.Port Adelaide Football Club inc. - 1 legal entity with an number of incorporation going back to 18 hundred and something. Changed it's name in November 1997 to Port Adelaide Magpies FC inc. with same number of incorporation (to allow the Power to call itself PAFC) so still same legal entity and the club with all the history.
2. Port Adelaide Football Club (AFL) Pty Ltd (with board split between PAFC inc and SANFL) created at ASIC on 29/03/97. Different legal entity. Changed it's name to Port Adelaide Football Club Pty Ltd in November 1997 to takeover the "good will" of the previous club. Still not the original club.

1 history?
The original club was sold down the river by people claiming to be Port Adelaide people to create a bastard child with the SANFL. To say "so and so" was a Port Adelaide FC Pty Ltd legend is like saying Doc Baldock is an AFL legend.
The original swampies got done like the Spartans at Thermopalae.

Numbers, dates,"entities" and so on dont mean farg all to the people that know and love Port Adelaide.Your statistical and legal crap has little or no influence on the passion Port fans feel. You show no ability to take feelings and heritage into account.

I for one have spent much time researching the above that you have mentioned and the statements I have made above reflect the thoughts and feelings I hold.

Borat if Sturt do have money to buy players, sucked in to the clowns that keep going on about how we dont have any money. If not sucked in to me.

That wouldn't be official Jimmy because other clubs with picks before Collingwood in the November and pre season drafts could take Keating before the Woods. Plus, heaps of players have fitness tests at various clubs, theres no guarantee that they'll get picked up though.

Still does indicate though that Keating is a good chance to stay in the AFL system.

Yes Syd do tell, that way Port can make an offer for this player :D unless its a Magpies player, then that wouldn't be nice :(

On a serious note, you'd think it would be someone with a connection with McGowan, so presumably someone involved with Centrals, North or the Eagles.....

Leigh Kruger won't be playing at South Adelaide next season, he'll be coaching at Loxton Primary School and teaching at Loxton Football Club (you know what I mean!)

A top ten SANFL player from the Eagles would be one of the following ; not saying that they are all in top ten but would all be considered as potential top ten depending your view point.

Cicca - not a chance
Inkster - quite possible , but has new contract
McKenzie - Not a chance and has new contract.
Passador - New marketing manager so unlikely
Lindsay - Hell would freeze over before that happened.

So the only one that i can see as posssible is Inkster , but he has just signed a new contract.

My tip is Borlase form the Legs

Yeah - I was thinking it might be a Dog too. But.....who...there aren't too many 'high profile' Dogs any more. They're either retiring (McCabe, Cochrane), injury riddled (Steiney) or have only a couple of years left (Slade, Chris and James).

A Schell or a Cowans might be among names you could throw around, but I don't think so.

Adam Switala's good mates with Rick, but I don't think he'd leave, and he's not really high profile (in fact he's underrated).

So it does leave too many Dogs does it?
