Colville as an outsider would do a nice job

Probably a bit more than an outsider, considering his name hasn't been mentioned for the job anywhere but on this forum. Would do a decent job though.

If my info is correct then the next Glenelg coach will be more of an outsider than Colville. Coming from over the border I hear.

Gary Ayres.

The issue is that it is public that A Jarman is in the mix which is just unprofessional. Why confirm who has applied for a job, it's just setting people up if not successful.

When Mickan got sacked all we heard was the proof would be in the pudding and if Massie didn't take them far the board could be judged then. Surely Glenelg fans are not happy with this board running your club. It was well known Mickan was going to get sacked and now it's known who 1 ( we obviously new Massie) of the coaching applicants . It's a comedy routine down there.

Isn't there a good chance he'll be appointed as an Assistant Coach at Port Power?

If Ayres doesn't get back into the AFL system, I can't see how the Bays job would be appealing to him in comparison to his Port Melbourne position?

Not Gary Ayres and not Peter German who has been mentioned elsewhere. Andrew Jarman has been spruiking his own application and was openly talking about it and trying to recruit assistant coaches at Magarey Medal dinner. Hard for anyone to then talk down the fact he has applied.

Which Peter Jonas? The one who got the Dogs their first flag or the one who had everyone behind the southern goals during the last quarter of the 1998 Elimination Final against Port chanting "JONAS OUT!"?

My mail is that Andrew Jarman is very close to having the job signed and sealed. Whatever they do, they need to make an appointment ASAP and do some bloody recruiting!!
