Just said on c10 news that 12000 tix have been sold so far

12,000 sold already from ticketmaster... wow that surprises me

i would of thought 4 maybe 5 with most people walk up starters these days

i was predicting 24k hopefully i'm wrong.... 30k would be a huge coup

how many were there last year??

Was over 30k last year IIRC, maybe even 33k

Not last year. The crowd last year was 25,234.

The previous 4 years when Central played North, Glenelg, Sturt and Norwood all drew over 30k but when Central have played West and Eagles (4 times) in the last 10 years each of the crowds have ranged between 24 and 28k.

Can't wait for this, two hard at it sides that play contested footy. Unlike some of the soft, bruise free football I've seen from the other SANFL clubs this year. This will be a arm wrestle from go to woe. If we don't turn up 100% switched on, we'll get rolled! West is the best opposition we've played this year and we will have to play our best to win.
If you don't like tough, contested football between two well coached teams this game won't be for you! And if you think this type of football is boring then go watch basketball, that's high scoring and non-contact, which some of you would be used to!

One things guaranteed, the Norwood Army will be out in force!
As for Bass, he's a f**king legend!

Yeah you're right...I did jump on the "BANDWAGON" just after I went to my first game in the late 70's with my late great Grandpa and my old man, I just haven't jumped off yet!
It's been an awesome ride and days like sunday is what it's all about......bring it on!!!

Great news if 12000 have already actually been sold, before members, walk-ups and freebies, but a bit dubious that the 12000 might include freebies too.

Before the 2nd semi, everybody (but norwood supporters) wrote off the Leggies because they hadn't played for close to 3 weeks. (out in straight sets wasn't it )

That's one of the funniest posts I've read this week. Written off? Straight sets? Are you stretching for an 'us' against 'them' mentality? No one wrote 'em off and no one suggested straight sets. Though, plenty hoped.
